TerraCycle is the global leader in collecting and repurposing otherwise non-recyclable post-consumer and post-industrial waste.
Across 20 countries, TerraCycle creates national platforms to recycle products and packaging that currently go to landfill or incineration, in collaboration with the world’s largest brands (e.g. BIC, Nestle, P&G) and retailers (e.g. Woolworths, ALDI). These programs are sponsored by the brands, making them free for consumers to use.
For waste streams that do not have brand-sponsored program, TerraCycle offers Zero Waste Boxes, a paid solution ensuring these items do not end up in landfill.
Along with 25 top consumer products companies and retailers, TerraCycle recently announced a new e-commerce shopping platform called Loop, which enables consumers to shop their favourite brands in durable, reusable packaging. Loop is live in the US, UK and France, and is coming to Australia late 2021. It was featured as one of the “Best Innovations of the year” by Times Magazine.
