For 40 years WWOOF Australia has connected many thousands of volunteers with organic, biodynamic and permaculture growers Australia wide.
WWOOF Hosts and volunteer members (WWOOFers) each have searchable Profiles on WWOOF’s website and App. WWOOFers search for the Host of their choice and connect via private messaging to offer help. Arrangements are agreed between Host and WWOOFer, most Hosts offer short stays with longer stays if both parties are happy. Host provide all meals and accommodation, and volunteers help 4-6 hours each day.
WWOOFers travel Australia-wide, volunteering on WWOOF Host farms and small holdings, learning real skills from expert hosts while offsetting their carbon travel footprint, often making friends for life. WWOOFers pay for their own travel, travel insurance and for any personal items they require.
WWOOFers who are studying online or working remotely can search for hosts who offer this option for their free time.
WWOOF is a worldwide movement linking volunteers with organic farmers and growers to promote cultural and educational experiences based on trust and non-monetary exchanges, helping to build a sustainable global community.
